Sustainability: Living “green” can also be referred to as sustainable living where mindful consumption of the Earth’s resources are at the forefront of one’s conscious thoughts and actions. Sustainability by definition in the broad sense is synonymous with endurance, support and maintenance, but deals more specifically with the biodiversity and the productivity of natural systems. In plain English, sustainability ensures the long term perpetuation of the wellbeing of the human species as well as other living systems. It is important that we look after fragile ecosystems in order to maintain the balance of natural cycles due to the interdependence that each system has on one another. Sustainable living is further defined by the lifestyle choices and decisions one makes and reflects the compassionate nature of the individual.

Leading a life in conscious alignment with the natural world is both harmonious and fulfilling. Nature always gives unconditionally and asks for nothing in return. When we take care of her she will provide for us in abundance. In order for our own success, health and happiness to truly unfold, we must learn to live as caretakers for ourselves, families and future generations. The result of this balanced approach to living with Mother Earth is often the effortless flow of affluence in our direction. As entrepreneurs, living in this way can eliminate or reduce the fear that often comes along with both material success and/or failure. The inner peace this lifestyle brings quickly becomes evident. Living a sustainable lifestyle is not a fad but a symphonious agreement we have with our natural surroundings!

Spirituality: Nothing less than mans ultimate nature and purpose is addressed when defining spirituality. Matters pertaining to the spirit or soul are conceptually explored as well as their relationship beyond the confines of physical or material existence. Most notably, practices that promote development and inner peace are investigated using techniques such as meditation, prayer and ritual all of which serve as tools to manage one’s inner (as opposed to outer) life. Ultimately, the goal is nothing less than happiness achieved through the management and understanding of thoughts and emotions or at least becoming consciously aware of thoughts and emotions that lead to unhappiness. Unlike the temporary nature of the physical world, the world of spirit is not bound by time, bodily senses or any other aspect of concreteness. As such, an emotional experience of awe and reverence can be a manifestation of such a realization. The foundation for happiness is laid through a sincere and genuine inquiry into the true nature of self and its connection to the infinite. If looked at in proper context, the aim of spirituality is to develop one’s self to the extent that the foundations for inner peace and happiness lead to personal well being.

Social Media: is a technological platform which allows content to become highly visible and accessible.  Users are able to share information across a multitude of mediums while at the same time fulfilling a relationship need with both technology and other human beings for personal, business and even political use. Simply put, Words, Video, Audio and images are constructed in a such a way that social interaction and technology become integrated.

Social media has shifted the way in which people discover, read and share news, information and content using highly scalable publishing technologies. Individuals are transformed into content producers and not just consumers of information. Connecting online through social media is dynamic in the sense that content becomes interactive and is able to be shared with a multitude of individuals throughout the community often simultaneously. Social media allows for the democratization of communication by taking the power away from the media elite and putting it into the hands of the masses.

Conclusion: The role Social Media now plays in our society has opened us up to a dynamic way to interact, communicate and share valuable content. As we come together to form tribes of like minded souls, we now have the means to easily disseminate useful information and strengthen our bond and connection to the community in a synergistic way. This promotes individual growth through a collaborative effort of community members. Important issues such as sustainability are now being effectively communicated raising the awareness of many individuals collectively.

For those of us looking to push the boundaries of our growth and align with universal principles to bring about radical transformation in our lives, matters of the spirit come to the forefront of our conscious thoughts and actions. We can now see how important living a sustainable lifestyle can be in order for a shift to take place within in order for external changes in our lives to manifest. As beings living within a universe that functions harmoniously, it only makes sense that we align with those natural laws that effortlessly bring about a state of joy. The thread of transformation is interwoven into all three of the topics we will explore with the goal of helping YOU to fully realize your unlimited potential. The old paradigm no longer serves the interest of the masses as the new social media revolution has the ability to bring out our very best!

“Keep your thoughts positive because your thoughts become your words. Keep your words positive because your words become your behaviors. Keep your behaviors positive because your behaviors become your habits. Keep your habits positive because your habits become your values. Keep your values positive because your values become your destiny.”~Gandhi

  2. I think you have a grip of where we are going as a culture /(shhh: species) and I agree. It seems marketing/sales & business in general, spirituality, and social activitey are all entangling and it’s becoming hard to tell where each one starts and ends. The boundaries are dissapearing. I don’t think however, most people will get it yet and you may be ahead of the curve. Your blog is going to be really interesting.
